Pricing depends on whether you need photography or personal assistant services, and what the nature of those services will be. Please let me know how I can best serve you here! Photo sessions start at $300 for individuals. My personal assistance rate starts at $30 per hour. No matter the service, I will tailor it to meet your needs!
Since you're spending money on a photo session, you might as well dress up, right? I'm a fan of layers and accessories, like scarves, hats, jewelry, and fun socks. I suggest groups coordinate their clothing, but don't match. For example, you could choose a color theme, such as a "warm color theme" or a "cool color theme." Prints are great, too!
When it comes to kids, I'm a firm believer that the wackier, the better. Butterfly wings, superhero capes, suspenders, and fun hats are all more than welcome. Did you know that I used to work as a middle school supervisor? My favorite week was Spirit Week because that's when the kids wore the weirdest outfits!
If you are wearing makeup, I recommend applying more than you usually would, unless you usually apply heavily. Makeup doesn't show up the same on camera as it does in real life, so if you want to look like you're wearing it, you should apply more blush and mascara than normal. If you usually wear really light eyeshadow, try wearing one shade darker. And make sure to bring your lipstick so you can reapply (plus, bonus: if you're in a pinch, lipstick can double as blush, too. Just make one swipe across each cheekbone and blend it in with your finger).
In the winter and spring, earlier is usually better. I generally like to book sessions in the morning to take advantage of the beautiful morning light.
In the summer and fall, mornings and evenings are perfect times to book sessions. If the light is ideal, I prefer to use natural light when photographing you, but I'm also able to use on and off-camera lighting.
It depends on what kind of look you want. Here are a list of places I like to photograph at:
Your house, especially if you have an outdoor space or you live in a walkable neighborhood.
NW Alberta Street
Downtown Park Blocks
Any large space full of trees or with graphic walls and cityscapes are great options, as well.
Let's have a day-in-the-life photo session! I find that the best photographs are made when we take some time to hangout and get to know each other. It allows all of us to relax a little more and get comfortable with each other. If you'd like to book a day-in-the-life session, let me know here.
I usually edit and deliver your photographs within two to four weeks of your session!
Yes! You’ll get access to a customized photo album, which will allow you to download your images and buy prints if you so desire.

All you need is some fun, colorful, or unusual shoes, a fun, colorful, or unusual floor, and good light. In fact, you can forgo the fun, colorful, unusual floor if you have really good light. Good light is the secret to literally everything. I'm also a fan of confetti in my shoefies.
